Movie Review – Gone Girl

by David Fincher

by David Fincher

‘With his wife’s disappearance having become the focus of an intense media circus, a man sees the spotlight turned on him when it’s suspected that he may not be innocent.’ (IMDb) (by David Fincher, 149 min.)

This movie was incredible. At first it was just an ordinary mystery film where we didn’t know who did it or what actually happened and then everything went crazy.

I didn’t expect a thing of what happened. Where the beginning left me a bit bored, from the moment we get to see a bit more about what happened, the entire story was crazy and kept me entertained.

Ben Affleck was marvelous as the husband who’s suspected of having murdered his wife. But it is actually Rosamund Pike who gets all the credit in this film. She portrayed this character with such passion that you feel with her and her husband and you just want it all to be resolved and to know the truth.

It’s an interesting take on a crazy story, definitely worth watching!
